Orna Livni - Art Star

This art show is a celebration of the two-year, spiritual journey I have taken reacquainting me with the voice of my inner child, integrating her messages, at each stage of development, as she grew into an empowered and mature adult. At the beginning of this beautiful process, when she was most fragile, I asked my inner child what she was trying to tell me. Too scared to say the word aloud she quietly whispered, spelling out the message “H E L P.” As she felt more comfortable (safe) expressing her vulnerability she used a variety of languages and codes to communicate her new messages. This process and growth are reflected in a variety of art forms and in the subtle, yet clear playfulness, you’ll find throughout these works.

Today my inner child rejoices that her messages for help are now said, sung, danced and even joked about with friends. As an adult, I feel free to express who I am as a whole, incorporating all the messages I have received over time from my inner child, and that is a cause for celebration!
